Based on extensive interviews with a retired Marine officer who served in Vietnam, Christopher Johnston's new play, The Ghosts of War, chronicles Jim Kyle’s four-decade search to learn what happened to his friend, Danny Nicklow, who was killed in action at Khe Sanh in 1967.

Danny was a member of the 1/9 (First Battalion, Ninth Marines), better known as The Walking Dead.  At Khe Sanh, the 1/9 was basically annihilated, suffering the highest loss rate in US Marine history. The play explores three Marines who served in Vietnam: One dies and leaves his promise unfulfilled; one is severely wounded and remains haunted by war; one loses his family in an act of angry self-destruction, but finds redemption when he uncovers the truth about his friend’s heroic death.

BOTANIC GARDEN is a funny, poignant drama about Kate, a 50-something widow, who is desperate to get out of a first date. She turns to the one person who can help: Jake, her deceased husband. BOTANIC GARDEN is both a fresh, engaging portrait of the intricacies of a long-term relationship and an exploration of what is really means to ‘move on.’

Thao's Library is Coming to New Jersey!

With reviews like this...

"...rarely does one have the pleasure of watching a show that is heartfelt, moving, tragic and uplifting all at once. One of the best plays of the season, Elizabeth Van Meter’s brilliant multi-media performance titled “Thao’s Library” is all of that and more."

it was just a matter of time before we got to do Thao's Library again... We've been invited to do the show in Raritan, NJ this November.  This presentation will not only be the live show, but there will also be screenings of the film as well.  Ticket information and times to follow.
